What Is Trichomoniasis?
Cheeky Team
Trichomoniasis (trich) is a common sexually transmitted infection caused by a parasite. Symptoms include a yellow, frothy, and fishy or foul smelling discharge, burning while peeing, and itching around the vagina and vulva. People with penises usually don’t have any symptoms, but if one sexual partner is diagnosed then it’s important for all partners to be treated with a round of antibiotics. Using condoms lowers your risk of getting trich.
